Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at Palazzo Am Dom in the charming town of Regensburg, I found myself captivated by the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, especially for adventure-loving travelers like me. The spacious apartment boasted a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living area, making it a great base for our family adventures. With Munich Airport just 105 km away, it was easy to access this lovely location, allowing us to dive right into exploring the historic streets. Despite the excitement of the nearby bars keeping us up a little later than planned, the central location allowed us to easily stroll to Bismarckplatz for a taste of local shops and dining options. Alwin, the owner, was incredibly accommodating; he even provided us access to a washing machine, which was a lifesaver for our fellow active travelers. One thing to note is that while there's free public parking available nearby, we had a bit of a challenge during our visit due to the bustling Euro Cup crowds. Patience paid off, and we managed to find a great spot eventually. The fun evening of enjoying pizza and watching the game at a local Italian spot nearby will be a cherished memory from our trip. In a nutshell, Palazzo Am Dom is a gem for anyone wanting a blend of adventure, comfort, and exceptional customer service.
